Hey guys, I found a whole bunch of game videos for some of the games I used to own for the old Intellivision console. It was actually the most technically advanced console of it's time (the first 16-bit capable console! The SNES is actually only the second system to sport one. ;))

Its kind of funny which simple, bad looking games attracted us for weeks in front of the monitor/TV.

I remember me playing games on the first Atari console, like pacman and pong :) And I did not care about graphics, because it was state of the art.

Man, we are so spoiled nowadays....

Yup, most of all the other innovations are being dumped for simulations now that the hardware allows for better detail. Personally I love it when I see a game company reaching back into video game roots. :)
