As many of you know I now run my own multimedia company. On Friday we had a fun day instead of a work day. Take Aways for lunch and Game Development all day.

We, as a team, have decided to release our games under a new name. So:

The Beverly Hills Cycling Company is please to announce the release of our first game Star Trekking is effectivly a re skinning of my Weapons of War game. But this time the team included a graphic artist. We gave ourselves the day to get it done. Its not 100% finished as there seem to be issues with the high score list...

So here is the link:

Enjoy :)

PS. The name Star Trekking was chosen because of the song I selected as background music: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Star_Trekkin

PPS. I finally worked out how to get sounds to loop in SDL_MIXER and the sound track loops right through the game :)

(Edit - Link fixed.)

Hey, it's a jawbreaker clone :)

My girlfriend plays Jawbreaker every evening on my Palm :)

You should try to transition the scenes a bit... let things fade in and out if they change. I am no fan of those "switch from screen A to B in 0.0 seconds" transitions, but away from that the game looks quite complete and is nice to play on my laptop.

*lol* I hope no one misunderstood that! *rofl* I was just reading my post again and realized that someone could interpret this in a sexual manner *lol*

That was definetely not my intention :) My girlfriend is not breaking her jaw on my "palm" :)

The game Jawbreaker is from Microsoft and with Palm I mean my Handheld PC :)

The first 3 screen (Intro screens) I purposely didn't want to transition - I want the hard switch between screens. But you'll notice a fade between the other screens.
