Our company (Hussar Games - http://www.hussargames.com) has now published 4 games using a game engine based on unDelphix. However not the time has come to move on.

We are looking for a replacement game engine. What we need:
- GUI (buttons, lists and labels) - or an engine that allows the use of standard Delphi controls like unDelphix
- simple sprite engine

I wanted to try the alternatives, but no luck so far.
- Andorra - cannot get the samples to run
- Phoenix - cannot install package
- Asphyre - would not work on Delphi 7

We are using Delphi 7. Is there a new engine that works with this?

I use danjetx with delphi 7 - its dx9 based and we have been using it for our projects for a few years now.

Yes, I just tried it, that is the only one that works with Delphi 7 right away.
My problem is that there is no GUI and no examples at all.

Maybe it's worth a try to use plane DirectX (9 or 10). You can find the headers on Clooties page http://clootie.ru/.

Asphyre eXtreme (http://afterwarp.net/products/asphyreextreme) can work in Delphi 7 just fine and was previously used in commercial projects (http://afterwarp.net/hallfame).

P.S. Your official web site has some dead links pointing to Matrix Games. Can you post links to all four titles you have released?
