OMG! That's awesome. Impressive. Most impressive. The game is amazing and I'm glad it's progressing nicely. I can't wait to play it. I think this is the graphically best game on the competition (not that there are many games in the competition :p). I just hope the gameplay is as fun as the graphics.

Man, I'll have to join the competition next year.

Seems to be quite a bit of smoke when you're the one behind the cars, but it's looking very good.

Actually if you take a look at the rules, you score points by implementing targets, not making it as nice as possible. I don't have multiplayer and online scores. So for the moment I lose some points for that.

@dazappa: I was playing around with the smoke :). Current implementation has far less smoke.

I just realised that there is only 9 (nine) days to go in the competition till the deadline!!

So we had all better get our 'game' on (pun intended)! LOL :D

I'm still progressing here. I still have some doubts about whether I'm gonna make it, but there is hope. ;) I've decided to extend my weekend a bit (not going to university tomorrow), so I can chill out and make some more progress.

This is what I've done last week:
> Made a track-system. Tracks can be selected in the menu and eventually there will be a highscore for every track.
> Added a thruster particle-effect
> Extended my engine by adding vertex lighting. This will be used to render the powerups. (it needs some more work)
> Made a start on oppenent AI
> Bugfixes little features and tweaking..

Todo:
> Make finish line and checkpoints
> Add powerups to the game
> Finish opponent AI
> Add highscores, maybe even online higschores when I have enough time (A friend of mine has offered some help with the database etc.. )

I've promised a demo, but I think I rather do some more work than trying to polish something. First I want to see those powerups... ;)

NecroDOME

I added also some features to out entry. Jens is busy with the 2D art and the sound. For my part I added light flares today that look pretty damn cool.
further more I added boost and boost-button. AI also uses the boost. They fly more out of the corners when using, but it's ok for now :).

Maybe I will add online high scores, maybe not... depends on how much time I have this weekend and next week. I also need to crush some bugs... :(

@chronozphere and necroDOME: nice work :)

I've stalled a little with my entry - it is a bit too easy now, and I think the fun factor could be higher as well (just more of the same each level)...so I need to come up with some ideas quickly :)

Haha.. Unfortunatly not yet. ;) First, I need to add player v.s powerup collision detection, the powerup "payload", a HUD, finish and checkpoints etc..

Thanks for the nice comment btw. :) I see your game is pretty much finished. I'm gonna check it out soon.

Thanks.. I just made the powerup spawn and pickup animation. :)
I think I'm going to leave the checkpoints out because I have no purpose for them and I'm almost out of time. I need a finish-line though.

And there is one very important thing. I need a proper name for my game. Now that you have seen what the game is going to be like, you can probably help me with this. I need to add a title to the menu so I need to pick a name within a few days. What is a good name for this game? I was thinking of the following:

>> P.I.P.E.S (a non-existing acronym)
>> T.U.N.N.E.L (another one)
>> Pipeline racer
>> TubeRun
>> WhipeOut (nah.. just kidding ;) )

So which one do you like best? I'm open to new suggestions ofcourse. :)

Submerged is bit more playeable again.
•Player loses energy
•Player can shoot harpoons using the spacebar
•Some tiles block the players path
•Game levels are now totaly editeable from text files, On the site i also posted some info on the fileformat used.
•Shapes for sprites / tiles etc can be drawn in inkscape (just copy and paste svg paths)

If you dare try to download the alpha 1 version at http://sites.vanderhoning.net/submerged/downloads/ . Yes it is now out of pre alpha.

But with the deadline in sight and no more time i guess this also going to be my final entry :-( .

@Paul, last night I was playing your game. I tough, lets give it a shot and I must say it looks nice. Only I have on "bug" to report. If all guns are destroyed you cannot shoot/defend the earth. When only 2 rocks/asteroids are flying around it takes a lot of time before they hit the earth. After 5 minutes I stopped the game. Maybe you could make a tiny fix or respawn some guns.

Hi NecroDOME, I must say your racing game is looking great - I can't wait to try it :)

Thanks for the 'beta test' and the report, very useful!

Hmm...yeah, I have noticed that sometimes the asteroids move slowly and it takes time for them to hit the earth or leave the screen.

I will try speeding up any asteroids remaining on the screen if you can't fire any more to see if this helps :)

Thanks again!

Hey Paul,

I really like "TubeRunner". I just started to make a title image in photoshop. But I'm getting nowhere. I don't know how to fill the text with a gradient and make a bevel at the same time.. Aarrgh..

There are only a few day's left, and I don't think I can make it. Here's my todo list:

> Make HUD
> Add sounds (and make some sounds, most are done)
> Program the powerups (they don't do anything now)
> Make credits screen
> Add insert coin to menu
> Make highscores
> Make title-image
> Make AI
> Make player v.s player collision detection and response
> Tweak the whole thing

I don't think It's realistic to do all these things before sunday. It's causing me stress and I feel tired. On the other hand I want it to be finished (I'm soooo close :( ). Actually I feel like I have to finish this because otherwise there are too few final entries.

What should I do?

Dang! how annoying to be so close to finishing your entry :(

hmm...what do to...

Sounds...you could try sfxr (http://www.drpetter.se/project_sfxr.html) which I used for my entry (except for music)...quick and simple for nice arcadish-like sounds :)

Insert coin is a must (in the rules).

Okay.. Maybe there is still hope (considering the fact that I'm taking a day off next friday). Today I made:

> The title image
> The credits screen (Credits as in "who made this game").
> Two images (a coin and a wrench) which I'm going to use in my HUD.

Allthough these things were quite easier than say "making the AI", I'm happy with my progress. Hopefully I can keep myself at it. :)

Allright. Today I wrote rendering code for the finish line (and checkpoints, if I decide to incorporate them in my gameplay). I also made the HUD rendering code. Finally I found some nice sounds for the menu. Also recorded a few voice-over wave's. :)

Just realized that I also have to add a decent looking explosion effect.... more work. xx(

Good work chief!

Myself, I just added in the use of continues (you get 5) as that was in the necessary list :)

EDIT:

http://paulsbitsandbytes.webatu.com/dod/images/screenshot_continues.png

Oh, as an aside, does anyone know of, or have a sound effect that sounds like a continuous laser noise, perhaps zapping something that would work on looping?

I have changed the primary weapon from a single blast to a laser beam, and I want to add in a continuous laser sound when destroying asteroids...

Hi all, well for better (or for worse), I have uploaded my entry to the competition page as I am not sure if I will get time to work on it more before the due date...

I have also updated this version (in .7z format) to my website:

http://paulsbitsandbytes.webatu.com/dod

I have updated the .pdf instructions file so it has all the new and changed features in it (satellites, game continues, etc).

I am fairly happy with the results - I managed to squeeze in all the competition required features:

Your game should use one of the two control methodologies specified below:-

1. The player will use the mouse and only the left and right mouse buttons, no other controls allowed
2. The player will use no more than 10 button style inputs (e.g. Up, Down, Left, Right, Fire, Punch, Kick, Duck) for normal controls.

You can play the complete game (short of quitting) using only the mouse if you wish :)

Joystick is also supported, but the judges will be looking for complying with (1), so I should be safe there :D

TA - Rules applying to (a) A computer game

1. Your game should be organised into levels.
2. Your game should get progressively more difficult as the game progresses.
3. Your game should provide the player with a limited number of 'continues'.
4. Every new game should start in the same place and the overall flow of the game should follow the same path for each successive game.

I have done all of the above :)

BP - Bonus Points (each one is worth 10pts. NOTE:- These are OPTIONAL elements only and the scoring may be subject to change depending on the number of judges)

1. Make you game multiplayer (e.g. allow multiple players on muliple PC's, or multiple players on a single PC by way of a splitscreen mechanism - Note:- These are just two examples of multiplayer mechanisms)
2. Make your game arcade cabinet ready (i.e. Provide full configuration options such that it could be loaded on a PC in an arcade cabinet and then be stuffed with quarters).
3. Provide an on-line high score table for your game.

I have even managed to get (3) working (http://www.paulsbitsandbytes.webatu.com/dod/dod_highscores.php), and theoretically, even (2) - not tested though ;)

The game could have more features and more variety, but for the first time, I have "completed" a game, and a competition!! Woo! Hoo! So I am very pleased with myself :)

I wish the best of luck to all the other competitors, may your games rock!
Good Luck!!

cheers,
Paul

Wish I was one of them, but I'm not. I don't think a text based adventure could be considered an arcade game, and I'm not finished with it anyway. Good luck to everyone who entered, and I hope the the PGD is timed more conveniently for me next year.

Well, I've now added in an modified laser sound into my game (thanks chronozphere!), and there are also 3 kinds of asteroids now too:

Grey asteroids - large ones split into 2 smaller medium ones.
Gold asteroids - big bonus points (1000), but take much more energy and time to destroy.
Fire asteroids - bigger bonus points (1500), but take even more energy and time to destroy. Also if one of these hits the Earth, then you suffer 2x damage on the Earth damage bar.

I have uploaded the new version to the competition site...yay!

I would like to upgrade/add more stuff in the game, but I just don't have time - perhaps after the competition!

I haven't uploaded the new version to my website yet...

Good luck to all!!

Okay.. today and yesterday I made:

> The sounds i'm gonna use
> Sound module initialization
> Some of the sound-effects now work
> An INI file containing some settings
> An explosion effect

To do:

> Implement all powerups
> Coin (easy one)
> Turbo
> Repair
> Crate
> Shield
> Make AI (probably the most work)
> Player v.s Player collision
> The main gameplay mechanisme (countdown, race, gameover / win, enter highscore)

Which probably means no sleep this weekend. ???
I can also submit a half finished game in the end. This means that the gameplay is very basic and some powerups have no effect (things like that). I'd like to have 48 hours of extra time, but I probably can't because you allready postponed the deadline.

Haha.. not entirely true. The last few weeks of this project were quite a struggle and I considered to stop more than once. Especially painstakingly debugging all those collision detection and transformation routines is VEERY nasty. I should have used Newton. :-X

Nevertheless, Hope to finish it today. Just need to add a few features. I'm not going to finetune and polish the whole thing (graphics are allready quite polished anyway) because I don't have time. I want to FINISH this and move on. :)

Almost done. :D

Highscores work. The shield powerup actually generates a nice looking shield around your vehicle and makes it much less vulnerable. Turbo also works. :)

Finally, I need to add a lap counter. There will be 8 laps in every race with increasing difficulty (which means that your health will regenerate slower and collision will do more damage etc.. but the score per coin and checkpoint bonusses increase). I'll also tune the tracks a bit to make them more challenging (there are 3 tracks now). :)

Also need to add the engine sound btw

P.S: Too bad I had to leave out the engine sound. Seemd like my OpenAL sound module didn't support real-time pitching.

I'm not sure about the other judges, but I intend to have my results within a week.

About the amount. I can't specify the exact number yet, because there is no decision yet on what counts as a entry, but I can tell you that if you leave out those who only submitted design documents the total number of entries marks well under 10. :(

Well.. Thanks paul. :D

Reminds me... I still need to try your game. :-[

Edit: Your game is quite cool. I probably tried an early version because I couldn't enter my highscore. The game continued, even when I was gameover. Nevertheless, The graphics and sound effects are nicely polished. The music is great too. The only thing I'd like to see is more action in the gameplay, because IMHO the level of difficulty didn't increase significantly. After 30 minutes I could still complete the levels with ease. (This was an old version, so you might allready fixed this, but anyway). :)

We also have some future plant for it to make it a full game. Create more tracks, more vehicles, unlockable vehicles/tracks etc. Maybe we also want to add some weapons or powerups, but fast racing is the main focus.
Also I want to migrate to Newton 2.0 for the physics part.

I accidently deleted a folder and some other files, so I've have now lost the high-scores and the php files that does that, so I now have to re-create that part...dang and blast!!

So competition judges, please note this...the online high-score table for my PGD Annual entry "Day Of Destruction!" DID work till right now...

EDIT: without testing my game again, I THINK I've restored the online high-score system again (now at http://paulsbitsandbytes.webatu.com/dod/dod_highscores.php), but the high-score table is empty...

I tried to download it from the megaupload link, but it says the same thing, temporarily not available. I've tried the link in the post above, and it downloaded until about 11 MiB. After the partial download completed, clicking it again simply resumed from where it left off.

Too bad that there are only 4 :(

I don't really get the point of Submerged (Noeska's game) though. It looks funny and it seems to work on my laptop, but don't really know what to do ???
Tuberunner (chronozphere) is really cool. Looks great (even on the crappy graphicscard in my laptop) and it runs great too. And most important, it's quite fun to play.
As for Day of Destruction, looks quite nice and runs very good on my laptop. Did get some framerate hickups after level 45, but other than that no problems. I didn't find it very challenging to play though. (made first place on the highscore list :P)

Nice work fellow competitors!

Finally got some extra time on my hands for a few minutes, downloaded the 4 entries and thought I'd put in my two cents :)

In general:
Put your frigging controls on the screen some place, each entry drove me nuts finding the proper keys/mouse combination. Since you already had "Insert Coin" why not say "Insert Coin (c)" or whatever. DOD was the worst to figure out how to start, too me forever to realize that the mouse actually did something LOL.

SubMerged, while basic and incomplete (looked like one of my entries, idea was there end game wasn't) it was an interesting idea when it comes to SVG usage. Have to admit, couldn't figure out the point :(. On the + side, it ran smooth :). 7 yo couldn't understand it at all, 3 yo on the other hand thought it was the best thing EVER! Penny Arcade (as is)

TubeRunner, this one kept me engaged and I think I would have put some quarters into that machine. Level of Difficulty is too high from the start (7 yo couldn't play the game at all) but in general its clean and runs really well. The one thing I felt missing was the background music, sound effects were great, wheres the music mang? Worth a quarter

DOD, ran the best on my hardware. Lost interest quickly with it though as the same things over and over got a bit tiresome :(. 7 yo found it a fun game and seemed to really enjoy it. Worth a nickle

FUR, talk about a resource hog! This thing barely pulled enough FPS for me to see that something was going on (sorry, but its true) and I don't have a crappy box I'm running on (3Gb SRAM, 128Mb Intel crappy video, SATA HD) granted it is Vista but sheesh I'd think it would be good enough to run it. I honestly can't tell you what the game play is like since I couldn't control anything or really tell what I was doing (sorry again, but its the truth). Looked very promising, reminded me of the PvP racer sims from the backgrounds and splash. Put the engine back into the repair shop and get some fine tuning on her, still too much of a petrol hog for my likes. Couldn't play so can't put it in the arcade :(

Granted, all of this being said and I never completed my own entry LOL. I need to get the parts I did get done put together and out so others can at least see I tried (honestly, I did try but work, work, and more work kept getting in my way).

Congrats everyone who completed and look forward to seeing you again next year. Hopefully then I won't be so overworked and I can actually get little more than a physics engine barely functioning :)

Thanks for the positive feedback. ;) Yeah, background music (or at least a good engine sound) is missing. It was on my todo-list but I didn't have enough time to add it. A few hours before the deadline i realized that my OpenAL module didn't support real-time pitch modulation (which is essential for a realistic sounding engine).
I also didn't have much time to tweak the gameplay and level of difficulty. I felt like making the game more and more difficult because I could play it with ease. Next time, I need to include two weeks of testing and tweaking in my schedule; Also to give others an opportunity to play and give feedback. :)

TIP: Play the "west circuit" track because "deep highway" is just too full of powerups. Turbo means instant death because you'll just crash into something muhaha. :D

FUR was never designed to run on a "128Mb Intel crappy video". It uses some pretty heavy effects like deferred shading (rendering to 3 textures at once) and +20 light on the screen (continuously). The minimum requirement is pixel and vertex shader 3.0. The engine is not bad, it's done by design. I'm not planning to downgrade anything. I want to create nice looking games with stat of the art effects and for that you need a video card. Welcome the world of games. So for this time you have to do it with the movies we create.

Let me add to that that there aren't any Intel graphics chips that are even designed to run games. They are generally low cost and low power comsumption basic graphics chips that are barely even able to make Windows Vista/7 look nice.

If the Intel chip is all you need there is nothing to worry about, but when it comes to games you'll seriously need to consider a nVidia GeForce or Ati Radeon.

Chill, wasn't meant to p1$$ ya off, but when I think of an arcade machine I don't think of the state of the art graphics chipset being installed. Most MAME and likewise arcade systems (wasn't this an arcade contest) are designed for lower end hardware for a reason (the reach and "reuse").

Just to be somewhat fair, ran it on my ATI box as well (honestly can't pull specs from here but I know its a Radeon, DX10 support, and at least 256Mb) it still bottlenecks (all other specs are pretty much the exact same, guess I need that latest and greatest 512+ card).

Let me add to that that there aren't any Intel graphics chips that are even designed to run games.

True, but it is also one of the most common chipsets in notebooks (ok laptops whatever) on the market today. If your going to design for high end hardware then you should test up front during the load for that hardware and warn the user if they don't meet your expectations, or scale down the effects (as many production games do) so the user can at least see that you have something beautiful instead of wonder what died.

LOL Fair enough...but didn't you read the instructions pdf I provided? The controls were on the 3rd page

Paul, I did read the directions (after I ran the game LOL) but when I play test I try to do it from the perspective of what the average user is going to do. In the idea of an arcade game few (if anyone) will have access to your manual :).

TIP: Play the "west circuit" track because "deep highway" is just too full of powerups. Turbo means instant death because you'll just crash into something muhaha.

I'll give it a shot next time I have time to play some games (that arn't board games or involve 7 year olds :)).

All you need is inkscape and notepad.

Got a writeup on that anyplace? I'd set my 7yo to work creating something for his brother to play in :). He does ok with InkScape and I'm serious when I say Chance loved it.

In general
I'm not a hardcore gamer, never claimed to be, never want to be. I have a wonderful family and enjoy spending time with my children outdoors. I've worked in the industry plenty, love designing/play testing, but it's not a life I'd lead on my own time or $$. If asked what type of "gammer" I was I'd have to answer "8bit and green all the way".

Most players (greater than 90%) NEVER read a manual! In fact this has been proven with more than one game and more than once by placing blatant cheat codes, tricks, and tips in manuals only to have them "discovered" some time later and passed via NG/MG/Web to the rest of the playerbase.

Few people look at your spec sheet and requirements, even fewer pay attention to it. But, plenty of people will be happy to tell you how bad it failed on their hardware if its allowed to run without warning them.

I just though with a few minutes I had I'd spend some time showing my kids some new games and put some thoughts out that may be useful to developers or anyone else. I'm off back into my world of marketing, the great outdoors, and tinkering with the kids. CYA on the flipflop.

Why would an arcade game not have nice graphics? MAME is a simulator for running old arcade games. When some classics back then like house of the dead where released, you also could better buy a new pc because the also needed some hardware.
It's not designed for low-end hardware, it's designed (as the compo rules say) to the hardware of the judges. It was also tested om similar systems and run fair enough imo.

Also for this compo you don't need to put the insert coin onto the screen which button to press. After all you should somewhere insert a coin that says "insert $1". Next you have limited controls: a sick or steering wheel and a few buttons that probably already have an icon on them for what they are supposed to do. Again keep the compo-rules in mind.

Also nVidia and ATI are making low budget cards that will not run the game because they are not targeting hardcore gamers.
We tested it even on a old DX 9 card on a pc which didn't had a big CPU and the game run acceptable. I'm not expecting that everybody can run the game +60 FPS continuously.

Also did you disable the motion blur, lowered the track iterations and bring the car count back to 2? In most cases this will also help to speed up the game.

It's only fair to keep in mind that the laptops (or notebooks xD) that are equipped with such graphics chips aren't catagorised as gaming systems. The "gaming laptops" out there are all equipped with somewhat high-end graphics chips like the GeForce Go 7400 mentioned by Wizard. The Intel chipsets have no support for hardware shaders whatsoever. My laptop doesn't even display anything other than the hud when I try to run FUR on it. Later chips (yours probably) attempt to emulate the shader support, but that's the bottleneck right there. The emulation is way to slow to pull off a decent framerate on such a graphics chip. Even my old Athlon 64 3200+ (a single core that is) with 1GB RAM and a GeForce 7600GS runs the game fine even with the motion blur enabled but on a relatively low resolution. But it manages to keep above 30 fps all of the time with those settings.

As long as no shader technology (or only very old shader technology) is used it'll all be fine on graphics chips like yours. But current gen technology or even last gen won't work very good. And last gen is DirectX 9 or even DirectX 10 as DirectX11 is the current version and therefore that is the current gen. I can imagine that DirectX8 will work fine on your graphics chip. Just try a game like Battlefield 1942.

Here's a quick competition update...

One of our guest judges (Vicki from Cengage) has had to pull out due to work commitments, so we have four judges. WILL and Traveler, Yuriy (aka Lifepower) from Ixchel Studios and Teri-ann (aka Spirit) from Outer Reaches Studios.

All the scores are in, I'm just trying to finish off the competition site so we can get it all sorted properly, plus as WILL has mentioned, he's writing an article for Pascal Gamer which I have to provide some content for. I'm still working on that.

Also, as many of you will already know DeleD is going open source, so after talking things over with Jeroen, it's been decided that they will withdraw the prizes they were providing as everyone will be able to download a full copy of their product in January.

From my perspective, this years competition has been a little disappointing in terms of the number of final entries... we had 15 teams I think it was that signed up and provided a design document, but then, even with an extension of 2 months, only 4 teams submitted a final entry. So, this is a request to everyone... what can we do differently next time to improve things. Please email me directly on athena at outer hyphen reaches dot com with your comments and suggestions. The flipside to a lack of final entries is that we could find it more difficult to secure sponsorship if potential sponsors don't think they're going to get value for money. So, improving the turnout is important.

And on that note, I shall get back to working on the competition site, ready to get the results released, so stay tuned :)

Great.. I cant wait for the outcome of the compo.

I agree. There were just too few competitors who delivered a final game. I even tried to motivate people (by sending some PM's), allthough I must admit that I had some motivation problems myself in the end. I'm glad I made it though. :)

I'm hoping that there will be more people competing in 2010. ;)

Great news about the results almost being here!

It's a great pity that only us 4 entrants finished the race, so to speak...

It is also a real shame that all the others didn't finish and most didn't even do progress reports either to help motivate others :(

I hope this doesn't ruin the competition (or even stop it) next year.

Thanks for all the great work so far Christina :)

I am waiting with baited breath! :D
cheers,
Paul

Unfortunately I did not participated the competition this year, by the total lack of time and especially for having lost the opportunity to participate from the start!

But I hope that next year it returns, and I wish to participate, or better, I will parcitipate, I will not miss the opportunity to participate it by anything in this world!

I'm in the process of preparing a results posting, for release (hopefully) later today. This won't be done on the competition site because quite simply I don't have time to finish it off at the moment (work has taken over my life unfortunately).

So, given I know what it's like to be waiting for the results, I'm going to publish them here as soon as I've finished the article and had one or two questions answered by the judges.

The wait is nearly over :-)

Wow... :o

Yaaaay I won!! :D ;D :D  :P

I can't tell you guys how happy I am. Actually I didn't expected this.
I also wish to congratulate all other competitors on succesfully finishing their entries. Finally I would like to thank the judges for their efforts. :)

I'm allready looking forward to a competition in 2010. I hope there will be more finishing teams because the ammount of final entrants was a bit dissappointing this year.

Anyway... I'm going to take an aspirine and calm down (headaches and winning the compo don't mix very well lol :D )

Still, it was a pretty close call between chronozphere and Paul, and somewhat unexpected.

True, and his game was way better polished than mine. I was still working on critical gameplay elements during the last week, which is actually very bad. :-[

Yeah, it was much closer than I expected too!

I can't believe I actually came second - Woo Hoo! :D :D ;D

Congratulations to the winners, all the rest of the compeditors, and a huge thanks to Athena, and all the judges, whom without their help, this wouldn't have been possible!

This is my first programming competition that I have completed, let alone won anything :)

cheers,
Paul

Congratulations to the winners!

The results for my entry were to be expected, but i submitted it anyway to keep the number of entries up, but i certainly did not expect only 4 entries would be submitted in the end.

Hey glad you guys like em! I think they look much nicer than 2007s. :) Maybe I've grown as a Photoshop artist? :) [Lack of content for all my games seems to say otherwise though lol]

Yes please do send/post pics of you guys with your mugs and prizes too! I'd love to put them all in issue 3. Nathan has also offered to send me some pics. Also in issue 3 I hope to have a nice piece for you as the feature, but time will tell what happens. :)

Paul, Michiel are you guys still going to finish your game? I want Noeska to finish his too! I want to see what his game was going to be like! It would be colourful I'm sure. :)

I'm definitely planning on finishing my game :)

I've just been taking a sabbatical from it and working on other projects for a while, especially improving DeleD...

I worked on my game for months and I guess I need to get re-motivated with it too.

Oh, I am also working on a boulder-dash like clone using Jarrod Davis' Pyrogine Engine (www.pyrogine.com (http://www.pyrogine.com)) called "The Probe" (see my Pyrogine blog here: http://pyrogine.com/index.php?action=pmxblog;sa=view;cont=3;uid=3#top)

cheers,
Paul

Yeah, I want to play Day of Destruction after you've tweaked and balanced it and added some other cool things to blow up. It was fun playing that game.

Also I commented about your 'The Probe' game in Jarrod's post. Again nice work do tell us when you finish these or get them to a beta stage. :)
