Hey guys

I have some great news. DeleD goes OpenSource! 8)
DeleD is a 3d-modeler written in pascal, with a small but friendly community.
The source will be released on January 15 2010 and we need pascal programmers who are interested in some delicious DeleD development. The people at Delgine are now discussing the license of the so called DeleD CE (Community Edition). Moreover, People have suggested to port the project to other platforms by using FreePascal. So join the discussion if you are interested. ;)

The topic: http://www.delgine.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3987
The delgine site: www.delgine.com (http://www.delgine.com)

Hope to see you on the other side! ;)

Although I am still in the realms of 2d graphics, I am planning to go 3d, hopefully by the release date but no guarantees. At any rate, I'd like to join if you'll accept me.

I thought I'd update this topic a bit and a free bump! LOL :)

Now that DeleD has gone open source (https://sourceforge.net/projects/deled/), things are in full swing ;)

Bug reports (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=293758&atid=1241127) have been added, as well as quite a few feature requests (https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=293758&atid=1241130).

One feature request, turn-table 3d view y-axis rotation has already been added!

Feel free to join, and if possible, make this a better product than it already is :)

cheers,
Paul

Unfortunately I haven't a lot of knowledge to collaborate. Also I have virtually no time (tons of projects pending). :(

Of course there is no pressure to actually do any coding, just a bonus if you CAN help :)

Feel free to download the current version now equivalent to the old $74 US dollars version and have some fun doing 3d stuff too ;)

cheers,
Paul
