Hi All,
A while back I posted a research demo on old school terrain texturing I did for work:
http://www.pascalgamedevelopment.com/forum/index.php?topic=6010.0
(http://www.pascalgamedevelopment.com/forum/index.php?topic=6010.0)
I didn`t feel like workin on my main project this weekend so I spend a few hours improving the terrain texture demo.
New features:
- Per vertex lighting is now calculated and rendered using the color arrays instead of using OGL lighting
- Per vertex terrain shadows
- Added a detail texture in the terrain lighting pass
- Terrain layers now use the texture matrix to calculate uv repeat
- Added terrain collision
- Added a simple obj loaded
- Added added a skydome with distance fog
- Brushed up the environment to a desert and added a little temple model.
Controls:
- WASD and mouse
