All I have to say is get a load of this.

I'm getting one. :) Now all the Diablo fans are going to be jealous for the SC fans, but on the bright side at least the Bliz Biz will be paying more attention to DIII now that SC2 is done.

I hope they didn't destroy SC as the did with CnC4. Man that game sucks now. And I AM a fan of the CnC series!
First have to see if it's worth my money.

Blizzard makes, or should I say used to make, great games. I don'/t consider WC3 or WoW great games and I don't even consider WoW a game really. That's my opinion, but Once WC3 hit they took the company down about 3 notches. But you know what every developer team/studio can have a bad run. So I'm hoping thats all it was and they get back to making the big hits they used to back in the late 90s. SC2 has looked great since they first announced and even if it's just an updated 3D version of SC1 with a continued storyline, I'd be satisfied with that, but I have a feeling (maybe a false one, it's happened. :p) that SC2 will be the first big hit since SC1 and Diablo 2. And it should be rather soon, especially since I just had my copy of the Collector's Edition pre-ordered. 8)

Starcraft 2 is definitely on my list of games to buy, and so is Diablo 3 (and WoW Cataclysm)... so yes me likes Blizzard games :D

This guy uploads alot of good SC2 matches in youtube:

Lots of different strategies and beautiful graphics.

If its just a nice graphics pimp-up I think I could be satisfied with SC2.

Ok so apparently the street date is June 1st! I have ties to the console gaming retail world so this is where I got it from. Can anybody else confirm this as well?

I can assure that's exactly what it is and that's the general impression I got when I played StarCraft 2 the last times at GamesCom and Games Convention. In multiplayer sessions you get the old StarCraft feeling, Blizzard really concentrated their efforts on balancing and it just is fun when try to overrun the enemy's base with your army.

From what I've seen from the campaign it seems to be promising. I like the idea of controlling my ship and choosing my missions. (When Blizzard announced this, it seemed more innovative, now it seems more like Mass Effect.)
The mission I played just was a typical "Guard some vehicle safely through half-of-the-map"-mission, but it got really hard after a while.

Don't think they have posted it yet, the beta however runs quite nicely in my Core2Duo @2.1Ghz with a NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT and 6GB of RAM.

And i think the date of July the 1:st is basically guesswork, Blizzard is notorious for not stating release dates. They haven't even stated how long the beta will last.

So... Starcraft 2 was released months ago ::) A thought just crossed mind that we pascal geeks that have strayed from hardcore programming into playing, could have some contact ingame too.

Starcraft 2 uses 2 kinds of friends lists.
- Real-ID which connects all Blizzard games such as WoW, SC2 and more in the future. This requires other one to know battle.net login ID (email address). I wouldn't recommend us to use this unless share it in private.
- SC2-only friends list. This consists of display name and numeric ID.

You can add me by Zaflis#613.
