Aw, this game needs a lot more love than it's getting. I played through the demo again, and everything seems smooth ;) I think the hardest level in the demo is the one with carts. Very frustrating and really shows how you have to carefully time and aim your shots. (The last level was quite challenging as well). This game is very well polished in my opinion. Certainly shareware quality, and I hope it's a success!

I tried to keep increasing difficulty, but I realized that is impossible - levels are very different in terms of mechanisms and all depends on how quickly you will find the best strategy. Therefore, I decided to not to worry about this too much.

Oh it's perfectly acceptable. It provides a break in the flow. I might have a relaxing few levels, then a challenging one, then some easier ones. It often is hard to tell a difficulty range for a puzzle-type game as well. Just remember everyone will have problems with different levels ;). I think you did a great job in terms of level design with this game.
