I don't think it's advanced math so I put it in general and it's not pascal specific.

I am trying to create a PC "slot"/"pokie" machine based off a real
machine and using this:

http://wizardofodds.com/play/slot-atkins/atkinsdiet.pdf

as a guide.

I have my own virtual reel map based on the one in the above PDF document, but at this stage I cannot even figure out how to re-produce the combination amounts, payback and result percentages etc (toward the bottom) with the authors reel map, so I cannot do much with my game except little bits and pieces until I can figure out whether mine is feasible (e.g. I don't want it paying out too much or too little).

It's a good guide and has helped me a lot to begin with, but the actual math and relation to figures and how they were manipulated to get all of these results was unfortunately not included. I researched combination/permutation math but using what I found, could still not produce the figures shown in the PDF.

Does anyone here have any idea?
