Anybody here know if already exists some Theora Video headers for Pascal? A lot of indie games are using this Video Codec (it allows Divx qualty videos without the installation of any codec).

"Theora is a free and open video compression format from the Xiph.org Foundation. Like all our multimedia technology it can be used to distribute film and video online and on disc without the licensing and royalty fees or vendor lock-in associated with other formats.

Theora scales from postage stamp to HD resolution, and is considered particularly competitive at low bitrates. It is in the same class as MPEG-4/DiVX, and like the Vorbis audio codec it has lots of room for improvement as encoder technology develops."

Here is something interesting (TheoraLib.dll):
http://d.hatena.ne.jp/Ko-Ta/20090204/p1

Does anyone know what is written here:
"

・著作権

・ライセンス
OggTheora(FreeBSDライセンス)に準じます。

私に対しての報告や著作権の表記の義務は一切ありません。
でもTheoraのライセンスには従ってください。
"

Can I use this library in a commercial product?

Hi!
I have sent a message to author asking about about the license and if we can use it on a commercial product!
As soon as I get some reply I will post it here! =)

Well.... Bing Translator brought me :

"
License and copyright
-Copyright
Copyright (C) 2004-2009 Ko-Ta.
License
OggTheora (FreeBSD license) you may take:

No obligation report against me, copyright notation.
But follow the license for Theora.
"

It seems to me that is free to use, it is only necessary to follow the Theora FreeBSD license.

'Theoralib.dll' includes everything what I need in one .dll, so it would be great to use this one =)
I'll wait for your reply, to be sure.

Well... The new version is out!

"TheoraLib(TheoraMovieDecoder DLL) Update&Bugfix. http://d.hatena.ne.jp/Ko-Ta/20090204"

But I still could not talk with the author! I did not find any e-mail adress and tried to talk to him on Twitter (http://twitter.com/#!/k_o_t_a_), but without success! =(

I also didn't find any e-mail address to Ko-Ta and I'm trying to contact through twitter too.
If I didn't get any response, I will use it anyway ;)
Your translation is rather convincing.

OK, I received a message from Ko-Ta:
"Hi. "TheoraLib" free for private or commercial use.
but apply to the OggTheora BSD-Style License".

:)
