Ever wanted to know something about making games with Delphi but were afraid to ask?

Well, there's going to be a new forum here soon, where members can submit an article which they think the rest of us will find interesting/useful/entertaining/etc. :D

I've already been contacted by some of our members expressing an interest in sharing their knowledge and experience. Some even have articles ready to submit.

So please post your requests here, it could be a tutorial on making your first Delphi app using the VCL, or an article on game design, it's up to you. Whatever you want really, just ask!

OK. To start the ball rolling, I'd be delighted to see a tutorial or two on Neaural Networks.

Perhaps, explain how to build one and incorporate it into an application.

Me too

Also I'm trying to implement flocking in my game at the moment, so any actual source code would be a BIG help

I'm looking for a good step-by-step tutorial on how to make a 2.5D Engine (aka Wolfenstein engine). All I found where text explanation of what it was and very old C explanations of how the things work... :(

So if anyone knows a good tutorial on this subject, please let me know...

I found http://www.riversoftavg.com/downloads.htm does a good flocking demo, with full source code and components.

Was going to say it's a flocking good demo, but restrained myself.

During the Christmas break, I'll be doing a write up on my dissertation which is about a Neural Network Simulator. It should included a short section on Neural networks. I'd be happy to post it up if anyone is interested in it.

There's a cool site on general AI techniques, called http://www.ai-junkie.com/. I'd recommend it a visit.
