Help! Transparent texture

Help! I need to create a tree using polygons with transparent texture. What should I do, when I want to make one color transparent and others solid

With the 2D stuff each PictureCollectionItem has a Transparent property that if set allows transparent drawing.

Sorry I dont know the 3D stuff.
