Ubuntu 10.10 - WOOOOWEEEEE

Rate this Entry
I have to say my setup is (was):

-Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit (Not working any more due to a 0xc0000225)
-OpenSUSE (Sort of works. For around 10 seconds before it crashes)
-Backtrack 4.0 R1 (Well, you cant really work on that 24/7...)
-Ubuntu 10.10 (Surprise: This works! (No not really))

And my first impressions are very positive. My last experience was with Ubuntu 10.04TLS (an early beta) which I was forced to upgrade to due to some rough handling of Jaunty... It wasn't too nice since everything was either in Alpha testing and Beta testing. And now I'm back after a quite major crash with Ubuntu 10.10 (Thank god Linus came up with linux) and have now recovered my data and within the 750 odd GB of it have started searching for my code.

Why post this? Because again, I won't be too active until the dust clears properly and chances are, I wont be working at full steam for Win32 or Win64 binaries but rather towards Ubuntu and Linux binaries. The good news: Apple users and linux users can compile right out the box. For windows users, you're going to have to whip out fpc and your IDEs and maybe tweak a few lines to get things working...

cheers,
a verry tired and AAAAH compiz is pretty code_glitch XD

PS: Where's that virtualbox anyway?? hinthint
