  • Mystic Diary: Haunted Island on iPad

Big Fish Games has released the sequel to the Mystic Diary series, Haunted Island for the iPad. The game uses ZenGL to support iOS.

In this second outing you are trying to stop a magician's ghost to free trapped souls that are haunting the Black Woods. It plays much like the previous one before it where you find a list of hidden objects in a highly detailed series of scenes filled with many other objects. There are other added puzzles much like the original as well. You can download the app for free to try it and purchase the game to continue beyond the point of the demo if you like it.

The game currently only costs $3.99 USD with an in-app purchase. The Windows and Mac OS X version costs $9.99 USD.

You can get the Windows or Mac OS X version at www.bigfishgames.com or get the iPad version at the iTunes App Store at itunes.apple.com.

So who programmed this game behind the scenes? It kinda bugs me that Big Fish Games say that they imply they did it all themselves!

      cheers,
      Paul

I really should make a listing of top Pascal game developers. There are so many commercial devs from our side of the coin that it's actually hard to keep track of them.

I would suspect that there are more Hidden Object titles to Pascal's credit under the Big Fish Roster than we are fully aware of.

      Thanks Andru
@WILL: not a bad idea, a list would be rather handy!

Well if I manage to complete the game reviews section of my magazine's website I could have all the reviews of the games searchable by developer... that would give you a substantial list of mostly active developers.
