This marks the beginning of a new and exciting era for the community as we relaunch the site with all the great forums you have come to love and some hot new features we know you'll be excited about.
First, we've brought back News Posting in our exciting new CMS. We'll be showing you regular news announcements of hot new games and developer tools made with and for Pascal and Object Pascal developers. Plus you can submit a news posts yourself now. With the new CMS this is done easily.
Next, we now have Member created Blogs! Have you been feeling the blog buzz lately and always wanted to start a blog? Well now you can. Start up your own blogs here at PGD where you can blog all your latest activities in a vibrant and active community. PGD Blogs will be unlike all those isolated blog sites out there where noone will comment on your latest posts. Here members will be just a click away from other topics of interest. You are guaranteed to get more interest and more traffic in what you have to say and what interests you. And most importantly for an independent developer it's FREE, all you need is a PGD Member account, which is also totally FREE!
Many other amazing features that we know you'll enjoy include; RSS feeds for many forums, CMS content and PGD Blogs, FaceBook account integration features, Member Profiles where you can place a picture of yourself, write a little bit about yourself and create a list of friends.
Increased site security and stability is also something we are quite proud about. The PGD Staff has always held maintenance and care-taking of the forums as the highest priority and with the new security features of the new site we can continue to do so with much greater ease.
Lastly, we have taken great effort to provide for you a full list of important information about the PGD Site and Community in our FAQ section of our site. You may access it through the Nav Bar above under Forums -> FAQs. We have also compiled a list of Rules & Conduct Guidelines for everyone to read and to follow for a better user experience here at PGD. We want everyone to enjoy their visit to our forums and will take every effort to make it so. Also in the FAQ is information about different community events and functions, should you require more information on specific features of the site, about other popular sister communities, magazine and showcase sites are being talked about or just want to know about the very cool PGD Annual game developer competitions.
I'm sure that I've only just scratched the surface of some of the cool things you will experience in our new site launch. I hope that you will enjoy your visit and if you don't already have one, will register for a FREE account so you can participate in the growing enthusiastic community we have here at PGD.
