Ongoing projects - a quick rundown

So anyways, with everyone making threads for their active projects, I figured I might be special and make a quick note of them here instead since not all of these are 'projects' that will be active/developed.

Prometheus - The main attraction, making a lot of headway. Not as fast as Zengl, but getting better (beats sdl any day if thats any comparison), just added the first drafts of code to load TileD TMX files, improving performance and loading tile/layer properties is next up. Rotations, scaling, resizing, drawing, loading png gif jpeg and etc is already there along with TTF font support (rather slow but again, improving as I go along). The audio side is still on my local HD since it hasnt proven stable enough yet to be considered 'buggy at best' (multi-threading issue) and the core hasn't moved in quite a while to be honset, but I promise an overhaul is coming to support NDS, WII and etc...

Luna - My revamped engine for games is going multi-threaded and being hardware accelerated in the process. Since Luna is built for specific versions of the discontinued MMI I wrote 2 years ago, its being ported to prometheus, so yay there. Its first game will likely be SmashMan.

SmashMob - a take on Mario bros, but with all our fave characters from random projects: Hatsune Miku, Samus, The south park crew.. Anyway you get the idea: an all out fight blowing everything up and kenny might die (in joke for south park viewers)

Worlds of Chao (to be re-named soon) - My long-term 2d rpg in proof of concept stage for most of its code, storyline is on the forums somewhere which will be ported to Luna.

Phoebe - Originally proof of concept multi-threading code that was made useful for controlling uber-basic physics in 2d games based on Luna which is in the process of being directly integrated into Luna.

So all in all, thats a lot of separate projects all at very different stages of their lives, check in for the next update in the next month or two and also for a potential release also. Phoebe, and Luna will likely not get released as I tend to make a mess of non-public code and it would take quite some time to get it all ready for an official release.
