    "do3D" option

Could someone please clarify what this option is, what it does and should I have it enabled or not?!! And if so, is it safe to have it enabled for all machines?

    Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken it enables 3d hardware rendering instead of software. Unless you're going for 3D I suppose there's no need for it to have it active.

Thanks. The reason I ask is on one Athlon machine, with shared video memory, my scrolling game still "jerks" occasionally, but if I enable this option it improves it considerably.

So I was wondering exactly what it doing and how it is improving my 2d game.

It might be worth adding that I get a "Interface not supported" error on one machine if I have this option enabled. The machine has a Radeon 9200 3D card installed as well.

    Curious.
