save a portion of a surface in a file

    hi all.

I'm a new member as you can see, but in the past I just visited this forum, and i find it very cool.

my question is: how i can save in a file (like a jpeg) a portion of the screen?

OT: anybody play Doomtrooper cards game (Mutant Chronicles)?

Have alook at a very old post of mine:

It looks at screen dumps but I think you can use the same process.

I would draw the wanted part to a temporary DIB and then save it to disk from there.
