    GLScene and FreePascal/Lazarus...

I noticed last week that some of the GLScene guys have already managed to get it working within the Lazarus IDE. I will post a news item and screen shots about it on Monday.

It would be awesome if GLScene ran on Win32, Linux and MacOS X using FreePascal!

    GLScene and FreePascal/Lazarus...

Are there any updates on this?

I know they have been working on it - but there is no releases yet. Do you know how close they are on getting it to work fully?
    Mostly just graphics :-)

There are only 10 types of people in this world; those who understand binary and those who don't.

    GLScene and FreePascal/Lazarus...

Just wondering, what's the state of GLScene under Linux these days?

Moreover, What's the state of GLScene under Lazarus?

    GLScene and FreePascal/Lazarus...

Latest news from 1st of April is that...
    Did you see Christians package?
    http://avl.ath.cx/glscene.zip

I tried it a month ago and after some basic struggle to get fpc and lazarus
installed, simply installed that glscene package and ran the teapot demo.
nice thing, works good. only problem: when freeing the viewer, it throws an
    exception.

    Linux Suse 9.0 and 9.2
Graphics card ATI radeon 9600 with fglrx driver (ATI), XFree (Suse90)
Graphics card ATI radeon 9250 with radeon driver (Xorg), Xorg 6.8.1 (Suse92)
    fpc/lazarus 1.9.(8?) / 0.9.6
Don't say I don't keep track of these things .

    GLScene and FreePascal/Lazarus...

    Sweet.

I'm considering giving it a go... after seeing the winning entry from the dog fight competition. Played it last night, well impressed. Nice job.

Maybe GLScene could do the next version of GUNS
