A lego game :P

Hi! i was thinking it would be cool to have a game that looks like Lego. For example a combat game or an RPG.. It would be cool to build models with things like Mlcad and then import them in the game
You could have medioeval settings, space settings etc etc

The only problem is with polygon number.. if you don't optimize models removing unvisible faces, you'll have plenty of polys to draw..

What do you think about ?

Why not make a game where the lego is in the game and you create your own units by putting the peices together. Some pieces give certain amount of movement points that then support a certain weight of weapons, armor etc.

You could do a RTS or an RPG in the same way.

You could also make it look like a set of lego blocks and create sprites of the units as they get developed.

Doh! They stealed my idea

Would you believe me if I told you that the game name Mythica was created by me sometime in 1994-1996(while in highschool) before Microsoft and some other company started sueing each other over it? I've never felt so burned... :/ It was supposed to be an RPG too...


In this case though... Lego is sort of already owned by someone else...
