Posting screenshots

Some forums have the ability to post attachments with messages. Does phpBB support that?

I was just thinking that to make posting screenshots of our projects a bit easier, if it would be possible to optionally post JPGs with messages. I do not have any permanent web space anywhere, and the current method of posting screenshots requires uploading the screenshots to an external web server and then linking to that external web server from the message posted here.

Or a gallery section on PGDev where registered users can submit screenshots. Then we could link to the screenshots in the gallery from our messages.

Such an option isn't available with the standard installation of phpbb. I have checked the available mods on the official phpbb site, but couldn't find a mod that would make it possible either.

People who do not have their own web space, can make use of sites like http://www.image-hut.com/, where free space is offered to upload images.

I just remembered last night while testing out the new IRC channel that I had some web space at my service provider. :roll: So it is not so important now.
