    E3 2005

Every year almost every gaming website make a huge deal about E3. It's supposed to be the latest and greatest thing in gaming, right?

So what about the Pascal game developers? Who would be interested in whats going on over there? Is anyone planning on going? Is there a particular feature there that sparks your interest?

Having been to E3 twice now, I can say that the programming language any particular title is written in probably the furthest thing from everyone's mind.

GDC however, has development written all over it. Sadly, I have never seen any hint of Pascal come out of a GDC.

Does that mean you're interested in it? It doesn't *have to be* Pascal related so much. Just Game development. Platforms, etc... when everything is packed and compiled it's all just really 1s and 0s

I think it being THE event each year for games that there is a huge interest.

Are you going this year Sly? You could go on behalf of PGDthis year... take pics, etc... if you had a digital camera I suppose. Don't forget the Gamer Girls

The last two times I went to E3, I was told I was going about a week or two before the event. The first time I went I took about six rolls of film, mostly of the booth babes.

My rolls of film would also go to them! How about scanning a few and posting them?

Ok i know this is a really old post, but I wanted to ask the guys who attended E3 how did they get admitted to do so. I read you need some kind of industry identification.. saying you are involved with the gaming industry..etc. , so what were your credentials? I really like to know because i'm hoping of going at some point. thank you in advance

It is a trade show, so you have to be in the trade to get entry. I got entry because I work for a game development studio. http://www.e3expo.com/ for more information.

No booth babes this year. A US$7000 on-the-spot fine for any exhibitor who has scantily clad girls in their area.
