IRC Room needs better advertising

Hey i feel that the IRC room does not get the advertising it deserves. Its only a brief mention on the news ticker and thats it! It should be in your face all the time on the main page.

I feel this is partly why the IRC room only has a few regulars and that is all.

erm yea i had to search the forums there to find the details for the IRC room.

you could have put the details in your post though

irc is to difficult for most people. Also it needs an extra piece of software. Maybe an java applet should be available with an button next to the forums button. But for me i do not have to time for irc. :cry:

yes yes good point indeed o should have put the details in my post.

for people that dont want to download a client for irc i use a web client at work due to our firewall settings. its CGI IRC

works greats. you can connect to any server you want to but you only need one

It is worth it, you get gossip and people fall out of the closet and says things like:

<incubii> who said im a man

So, he's either a cangoroo or a women apparently Or maybe even a dingo..
