    AI Life (zero player) game.

    Hi All,

Just wanted to tell you about this game (zero player really), which is available from the Delphi page of my website:

    (scroll down a bit to...)

AI-Life v0.02a is a zero player which simulates an environment where plants and critters grow and compete.

Actually it is based on a similar project which I found on the Borland Community which had some problems, which I fixed up for this version.

NB -- it is freeware & open source. It was written with Delphi 5.

I've always been interested in this kind of programs..
How does your work ? Do you use some AI algorithm such as neural networks or genetics ?
If you save your data in a proprietary format, the owner of the format owns your data.

To be honest, it's been quite a while since I worked on this project... but I posted it here because it seemed to be ON TOPIC.

To answer your question: no and no. I suggest you download the code and have a look at it. I don't think that it is very difficult to follow.
