Damn that sort of spoils my attempt at announcing a demo competition on July 1st.

I hope a lot more Pascal games are submitted this year.

Well Savage - I hope you plan on entering something

I'm thinking something like an RTS game. Just trying to work out the details between the 'races'.

Ninjas is just so difficult to add to - you can make all sorts of robots but there can be only one (type of) Ninja.

Mmm, this needs some (lots) of thought.

Now who in the right mind would come up with a game that's featuring a combo of robots, pirates, ninjas, and zombies.
This could result in some very creative games.

I'm very much looking forward to playing the entries.

Eheh an RTS would be perfect. It's probably the best way to make all "elements" in a single game

About ninja types, i think that if you have to design different units, you can push the concept a little. For example the ninja race could as well contains Samurai (like a kind of armored ninja) or unarmored (naked body) martial-art fighters (as basic weak unit). Also, you can have different types of ninja (with katana for melee attacks, with shuriken for distant attacks). Also a nice oriental monk/bonze could act as a mage
That is, i would make the ninja race as a kind of oriental-style race

Well that's just my two cents.
