    Contest: GameDev.Net - Four Elements IV

    Just browsed through most of the screen shots from the previous contest. I know it was in 2002 but on average I think the Pascal contest we had was on average better than the entries I saw.

    oh boys i like the smalltalk

    hm i think some times about my idea and iam worried about the
    on pixel correct collision :?
    thanks to Magellan(for pixel perfect collision) and MSX(for the great sphere collision)

    but i think i can do it, i hope i need no more then a month of time
    and 2 month for the game, i can begin coding on first August only :?

    are the results will be download able?

    Not sure if I understand you correctly, but afaik gamedev.net will place a copy of the game on their server. Source code does not have to be included but is appreciated.

    hm i was thinking if the game is cooll enough i will make it to shareware
    but i also understood it will take a lot more time

    i hope some people will include their source

    when i finished the gameengine i will wrote eventually some tutorials
    to some facts

    Yes - if your game is good enough you may sell it. BUT the version that you hand in for the contest will be freely avaialble from the DemDev.net site for about as long as forever.

    Read some of the contest forum remarks - this has been asked already.
