Quake 3 source code to be released very soon

I would suggest performing the conversion using Free Pascal. Since its obviously free and GPLed much like the source code for Quake 3 it will make it much more accessable to everyone else as well. Not everyone can afford to get Delphi, plus delphi is proprietory as well.

Ah... well I definately recomment using Object Pascal. It's just a much better language then the older Extended Pascal that most Free Pascal users are used to.

Allow me to clairify.... Use Object Pascal *in* Free Pascal. This will allow the source to be easily modified(if at all) to compile under Delphi should someone want to try and get a faster executable on Win32.

Besides Object Pascal is the king of the other Pascal dialects! :king:

I believe it is still going on, but rather slowly.
