    Let's Make a Game

    Hi There,

For a living I do real time systems, which pickup stock exchange data, calculate these and send them to customers.

But I always wanted to use me skills for making a game, but never got around to it.

So if anybody out there, with some know-how on game development, want to work with a game rookie, just let me know.

I would like it to be some kind of multiplayer game, simple but yet fun.

    So what do you say?
    Best Regards

    Let's Make a Game

2d games are quite simple to make (though many people say that games are hard to make). I made my first game in QBasic . It also depends what type of game you want to make.. You should do something simple first (to get the hang of things)..

You should check out http://www.gamedev.net/ as well.

And Ali has some tutorials on its website (tile and iso tile).

Bear in mind that my tiles tutorial ain't up to the required standard . I'm rewriting it at the moment and there will be a much better one popping out at the end. It should be done by the end of the week, assuming that I can find the time.

Btw, I tried sending you a private message, TheGott, just as DGDev blew up for the umpteenth time. I'm not sure if it's got to you yet.
