    Birth of America updates...

    Pocus has informed us that new screen shots of Birth of America can be seen here.

    Below is a shot of their CD ROM cover...

    Looks fine to my eyes, on an aging CRT...

    And I love the updates, nice resolution and smooth graphics!

    I think TFT uses higher gamma so brown-red looks like bright red on TFT. It looks even brighter on my laptop where TFT display has 1600x1200 resolution (15'' :?) - I guess they make it intentionally so smaller pixels are easier to see.

    looks fine on my tft, try run the auto configuration for the tft

    Anyone who makes or view graphics without adjusting their screen gamma to 2.2 should be shot.

    - If you can set gamma on your screen or display driver for RGB individually use this image to calibrate the colors, you need to calibrate for gamma 2.2:


    - If your monitor or gfx driver doesnt support individual RGB setup then use this image to calibrate gamma, external of the cube it is for gamma 2.2, inside the cube for 1.8


    If you can adjust RGB gamma separately use first image, if you did it properly the second image will also look properly.

    I got the images from some website that the free web host had suspended..

    How about telling those that don't know how exactly they should calibrate their screens instead of just throwing crap into the forum and saying do it.
