2006 PGD Annual: Final Results

For next years compo I was thinking about some racing game. You need to beat other players/AI opponents in any way you like from car racing to quake combat style. You could put in multiplayer as well. Points for AI and MP.

Anyway, I'm going to pack my stuff, tomorrow is my vacation ...

    See you in 3 weeks!

    yet.

I still have to submit a poster for the IOTD...

Dom told me I have to or I'll be excommunicated or something...

I'm going to be putting one together... for GameDev.net and whereever else...

Once the PGD store is up, I think we might even ell it as a poster... if all the 2006 PGD Annual winners are all okey dokey with that idea...

That would be a great way to earn a bit of cash to fund the site and the contests. Would really be kick ass if you could figure out a way for people to sell there games on the site. Some sort of review process, and then place it up for demo and full (sale) download. Of course freeware people (myself included) could simply upload or place links. % of the proffits goes back to you all for the running of this site.

Yeah... some have had the idea of making PGD Annual compellation CDs (I guess DVDs now as CD-R is becoming less and less available in stores with only 3-5 brands and packaging instead of the once several that was offered before, or is that possibly just here in Canada?)

If we had enough time, we could make a nice little installer menu which featured title and in-game screeshots, game manual and interiews with the winners.

But this idea might have to wait for 2007 unless we were able to get permission from all the teams this year, as we didn't really include this as agreeable terms for all the teams But a 2006 compellation DVD is possible.
