    Nice, however if you need an alternative, this project can do it for you aswell, it's however just a font character packer / organizer, and you need to provide your own rendering in the end, i use this in my game project with great success.

    The project i linked to is, it relies on freetype, which is probably ported to more platform than freepascal itself.
