I had saved my Borland Pascal 7.0 for 30 years, lol. I just kept moving it from computer to computer. Last fall I discovered dosbox and started doing some programming again.
I did rudimentary clones of Missile Command, Space Invaders, Centipeed and a decent clone of Pac Man. Then I found Lazarus and started to port everything over. Recently
I did a few card games, Black Jack, Stud Poker and Jacks or Better. I'm making the cards with a sprite editor that I made - It just makes simple arrays of various sizes for the
sprites, but it does export the info to a text file for inclusion in my games. So now I have also done Deal or No Deal, which is almost finished. I don't have any sound except for
the Windows beep, but I am able to make musical sound notes with it. My current project is a rudimentary "Paint" program so I can make larger sprites and/or scenes. I'll probably
just revive the run length encoding scheme I had made up for myself back in the early '90s to save and load the images for now.
