Hexaton 821 - concept test with hexes

    Fellow pascal coders,

Yet a concept test game finished. The Hexaton 821. Not much of a challenge or gameplay but is playable. View it as a concept test or demo.

It is a bit like the Dark Vesta and Vesta Forever games. I started with some vague idea to use hexagons, and they are there, hopefully clickable and scalable if you use those High-DPI settings, but are really not much used for actual gameplay. Ordinary squares or just a line of text would have been sufficient. The game 'challenge'. to help B-bot navigate the asterisk fields and make it to the clover. Almost impossible to fail. Unless you fail to find the arrow keys on your keyboard

The asterisk field graphics is actually generated with ASCII. Ohter graphics issues? The Dark Vesta had to make do with VGA and 4 colours.
Here can enjoy VGA and 16 colors.

I was hoping to make a ReactOS version but somehow failed at that. So you got to make do with 64-bit AMD linux.
Very modest system requirements and fully playable in virtual machines.

Feedback is always welcome. I'm mostly interested if the program ran at all on your machines.
