Hi all,
After much head scratching, code comparisons and talking with WILL and savage, I've fixed the problem with the forum index page not working.
It should now recognise you as logged in and should show the posts accordingly.
If you spot any problems with it (or any other pages) as a result, then please let me know ASAP.

Truth is I don't know how it happened, but as Athena finally figured out for us, it was a nasty little .htaccess directive that was jamming it up.
