    FastGraph... anyone ever use it?

FastGraph is a quick and simple 2D API (though I think it handles 3D as well) written mainly in assembly. It's pretty impressive speedwise and I was considering it over larger more 3D oriented APIs like DirectX and OpenGL (which require special 3D accelerated hardware to perform well, even in 2D). The only downside is it isn't free (costs about $300). Just wondering if anyone else has experience with it. There is a free full working demo version available for download, but it only functions while the IDE is running.

    I use FastGraph

I use FastGraph for my commercial chess software. I only use it because I couldn't (read didn't have the time to) figure out how to match palettes and stuff.

I'm open to changing. Now would be the time for me as I'm using Delphi 5 and would like to upgrade some day.
