Engine Test 1 or Real Relief 2

Question Do you have any problems with the wall "shot here" in WallTest.map ?
    It worked for me

Question Is music play normally on your sound card ?
    Yes

Question Do you have a problems with map loading ?
Nope, except a message from missing textures, but it loads.

Question Cloth simulation is slow ? Or collision with cloth is not realistic ?
    It worked and looked nice!

Question What do you want to see in the next version ?
    - Wind to move closing (like a flag)
    - Rocket launcher for wallshot
    - Wireframe & triangle count
    - DooM 2, map 1
NecroSOFT - End of line -

 it is realy can help me to fix all problems and make next version more friendly and fixable.
    1) yep,.. it worked.

    2) No,.. I did not hear any sounds or music

    3) No, no problems there,.. apart from the message that certain textures could not be found, it worked okay,

    4) Pretty, neat! Although it did appear to me as a bit stiff.

    5) whatever you can come up with

Engine Test 1 or Real Relief 2

I downloaded this to give it a try... WOW it's slow. Nice, but slow...

    Brief system specs:

    Pentium M 1.8 GHz w/ 512MB RAM
    Radeon XPRESS 200M w/ 128MB (has shader 1.1)

Ran engine at 800x600 32bits fullscreen. Got about 6.5 FPS on average.

Now would it be slow because of missing textures? I've had this issue before, it seems that when my OpenGL driver tries to load textures that are not there or are missing and this slows down the program's graphics a lot.

Wall shoot what? Was there something I should have seen in this map file you included?

The walls looked to be ok. Relief mapping seems to be working and looks pretty nice.

Music plays well. Love the Jarre! What formats does it support again?

Not that I noticed. The map loaded and I was able to traverse the map quote well. Slow, but well enough to get the idea.

I didn't even get to it. :? But judging from the speed of the map without even seeing this, I'd put my money on it not being very fast at all.

SPEED THIS PUPPY UP! Seriously, if I can play Unreal Tournament 2004 and AoE3 without any major speed issues, this thing should be as smooth as a baby's ass.

UMX playback from the Unreal engines! (if it's not already in)

Mouse interface for looking around. I'd eventually want the standard Unreal Engine type controls.

A .map file without any missing textures (make some dumby ones that are very small) so that I can test to see if it's this texture issue that kills the program on my system.

Not bad so far, you just have to speed it up more!

WILL,.. I did not realize it either at first, but when the smaller window appears you can select a map. There's one with the cloth sample (clothtest), and one with a wall where it says 'shot here' (walltest).

Amazing stuff Runs from 300+(simple room) down to 30 FPS (Quake Map) on my machine.

I really like the clothing demo.... thats cool!

The wallshooting seems to eat much performance. I get about 130 FPS when walking around and it drops down to 80 FPS when I shoot (press space).

But this whole demo is really impressive stuff! Keep it on!

Btw: Music is playing without any problems.
