Yeah, I really would have loved to had a multi-option voting system. I just hope that there is enough votes to make this an honest list of at least 10 games in some sort of order.
A tall order considering that there is about 80+ games listed and just over a thousand members at PGD.
What I might do is do a 2nd round if we don't get enough votes and take the top X amount and have everyone vote on those. I'll likely do that as a tie breaker anyway.
And yes, I also see that some people are just nominating and voting their own games. Oh the egos. (psst: We don't see any of my games up there do ya? Not that I finished any... yet. )

You know what guys? I really don't see this as working.
Using the poll feature seemed like a good idea at the time and thats the story I'm sticking to.
Ok change of plans!
I'm going to change the way we are going to be voting. Now vote, you have to post your 'top 5' games in order like so.
1) Game Name (given 5 points)
2) Game Name (given 4 points)
3) Game Name (given 3 points)
4) Game Name (given 2 points)
5) Game Name (given 1 points)
You can only choose 5 from the list of nominees. And you have to mark them from 1 to 5. That means that I'll only add points for 5 games and score them in order of how they are numbered. You cannot repeat a game title for extra points!
These votes will be manually scored by myself. (I started it so I'll at least do the work ) And after the voting period is complete I'll compile a big list of all the scores and post the PGD Member decided 'Top 10 Best Pascal Games!
:!: Those of you that have already voted, please post here to vote now. The existing poll will be removed. :!:

Hi there...
I know it's a very old topic, sorry, but I was wondering -- where was this game list compiled from?
In the early 00's, my game Kyodai Mahjongg was well known as a commercially successful game made with Delphi. There aren't a lot of those. It also won two Shareware Industry Awards in a row (for best game). I was relatively active in forums at the time, and tried to promote Delphi as a game development platform. I'm surprised it didn't show up in the nomination list.

Keep in mind that development ended in August 2006, though.
For what it's worth, v1.x was made with Turbo Pascal 1.5 for Windows. v2.x and above were made with Delphi. I progressively migrated from Delphi 2 to Delphi 7 in the course of the development period. I never lost interest in Delphi, but learned PHP to allow for communication between the game and my website, turn it into a platform... In the end I was so excited by the new challenge, that I focused on PHP programming only. Ah, well, these things happen.
Still -- Kyodai Mahjongg is a Delphi game, and the first Mahjongg Solitaire game to have made the jump to 3D. (Maybe even the first puzzle to do that, but I don't know for sure.)
Just wanted to make it clear.
