Delphi2005 broken can i repair it without reinstall?

Whilst debugging Delphi2005 became stuck. So i tried the close button. On restarting Delphi2005 and trying to run my project i got the following error:

Project DynamicAmbientOcclusion.exe raised exception class EConvertError with message '' in safecall method

After restarting my laptop and trying to run my project again i got an exception on an delphi dll. Close again and restart delphi2005 gives me the above error again.

Also i seem me Delphi2005 became broken somehow. I do not feel like reinstalling delphi go through all service packs again, install all 10 additional component packages again. so i wonder is there a way to repair my delphi. Hopefully that saves some time.

solved. the problem is project specific.
