Google introduces a 3d webbrowser plugin

Will the 3d web succeed this time?

(basicly a javascript like controleable 3d environment inside a webbrowser).

    Who needs delphi/pascal/opengl/directx anymore

The real bad about it is that is not compatible with the khronos(opengl)/mozilla initiative.

Awesome... Loved the island and Knight demos. I did realise that it constantly sends data on the net, which means that folks with low bandwidth won't toy around with browser based games much. IMO pascal and delphi will still have it's place in the world.

This would be great for developing an MMO of some sort. I'm gonna check this out a bit more and maybe try to learn some JavaScript, if my head can keep up.

I agree, Pascal and Delphi will not die a slow death. The samples looks really amazing
