I'd love to check it, but Avira complains about "Delphi.Gen2" dropper. Can you confirm that the download is free of mallware?

Now you are scaring me . To be sure just delete the .exe and compile from source.
Microsoft security essentials does not complain about it.
I now also scanned it on another pc with eset smart security no alarm there also.

But i even more scared about the gen2 part, is there a new delphi virus on the run that also affects newer delphi versions?

Hmm a full scan on my pc's and they came out clean. Looking at the description of delphi.gen2 the suspected files are not available on my pc's

Next i tried http://online.us.drweb.com/?url=1 to scan my download online and it comes clean.

I use Avira and my experience is that it's always complaining about virusses (also when I plug my USB stick in etc...). It seems like you took all neccesary precautions. I think we can consider it safe.

Need to get rid of this crappy antivirus program.

Edit: oh forgot to tell ya... It looks quite cool. I'll look into the source when my holiday starts.
