    Intel Sponsors Games for Netbooks

Intel and "The Game Creators" have launched a program that calls for game developers to develop games for the netbook (EEE anyone ?) platform.

Some might want to participate in this competition:

I think you should put an article on the news if you think this is serious enough, i didn't see any rules excluding Pascal as an option to build a game but i think there is a requirement about the executable size and resources.

    Hmmm.. sorry but:

    14. Game Apps must be created with either DarkBASIC Professional or Dark GDK.

Coders rule nr 1: Face ur bugz.. dont cage them with code, kill'em with ur cursor.

I knew there was a problem somewhere, this is a strange requirement.

DarkBasic and DarkGDK are products of "The Game Creators". So I wouldn't find it too strange.

Nothing stops you from compiling the GDK into a DLL and linking it via a FPC/Delphi app . Little bit of outside the box thinking for ya

That's true, Pascal is awesome for taking outside Dynamic Libraries and incorporating them into wrappers. Long running history of doing so by open source communities.
