memo vertical scroll bar color

Hi Ho allllll,,,

I am using a standard memo box to display information and would like to change the color of the vertical scroll bar to something more appropriate than the standard grey........ Is there a way to do this? delphi 5

i'm pretty sure there isn't. But then again, what do I know .

I wrote an HTML viewer component a while back which I wrote from the scratch (TCustomControl decendant) with all the word wrapping and scroll bar handling done manually and apart from the HTML rendering part it wasn't that big a deal actually. So if you don't find another way, you might want to consider this. Or just ask me and I will send you my component (it can also function as a Memo). The scrollbars of my component are flat though, but you can change the look any way you want.

But then again, there's probably a more simple solution to your problem.

Thx 4 the offer, but in this case, overkill is not warranted....

It's just to display a help file, so the user will just have to suffer
the optical nightmare.......
