Favicon :D

Guys, this forum is really missing a thing.. the mighty favicon
What about adding it ?

I'd like that too. PGD is almost the only bookmark on my personal bar in Opera without a favicon.

1 min later... ah! Do you mean those icons in the left side in the address bar?

That's them. I believe all you need to do is put a file called favicon.ico at the root directory of the website. It is generally a 16x16 256-colour icon with an optional 32x32 icon. I have created a small one based on the green logo at the top of this page.

Hey, not too bad. A little hard to make out the PGD though...

The logo is not too clear at full-size (not much contrast in the all the green), but when reduced to 16x16 with each letter an average of 5 pixels wide, they get a bit smudged.

What about something else on the favicon? something like a sprite or similar?

But, it's ok for now I guess. Mind you it doesn't work for IE [size=9px]( go figure :roll: )[/size] I think I'm missing a meta tag on the header.
