Yeah, I could see that coming. Many people have been scared off of Delphi Prism for a while since most .NET developers have been using C#. Not sure if this will help attract more interest, but I'd like to see more game stuff come from Prism other than translated tutorials and simple demos.
Delphi Prism that comes with delphi2009 was already using a visual studio environment instead of the codegear ide. And does a good job. But is this news about that delphi becomes a standard withing visual studio pro?

No, just Prism. Delphi for Win32 will remain just Delphi. The only change is that Prism will be able to be added to the Full Visual Studio IDE not just contained in a VS Shell. Big news for those that use it and want to fully integrate with things like VS's .NET and XNA SDKs, etc... things that you don't really get to take advantage of with the Visual Studio Shell.Originally Posted by noeska
