Excellent work Lightning! A good find indeed
Homepage - http://incubii.port5.com
lod__ is working on the GLScene port, optimising, etc. but as you can see it's already usable.
We hope this will give a boost to game programming in Lazarus/FPC on all platforms.
WILL try downloading the screenshot as it doesn't seem to be displayed properly http://www.bluelightning.go.ro/downl...cene_linux.jpg
There are other good news too, a new version of Lazarus will be released soon and GTK2 support is getting better, we might even have a 64 bit version soon

Savage you did, only it didn't work in Linux at the time
lod__ (the one from IRC) succesfully made the port to Linux only a few days ago as he couldn't get a valid X11 handle from the TWincontrol on wich GLScene is based, now he's working on optimisations.

In the post, the screenshot thumbnail doesn't work.
403 Forbidden "You must supply a local referer to get URL '/download/glscene_linux.jpg' from this server."
That's what I get when trying to look at the screenshot.
Try my link, and type it in the address box.
I hate that server, i think i'm gonna move to another one.
I could send you the screenshot directly if you want, send me a PM, then you could put it here
