I quite agree... my blog has had a problem with spammers in the past... now I just figure out if the IP is a datacenter or not and if it is, I block the netblock on 80 and 443... why does a server in a datacenter need to talk to my blog? I also have quite a few layers of anti-spam on it.

Our forums aren't so bad for some reason... email authentication is required for a start, and as you may have already noticed, I don't pull many punches. Well on my own sites, I'm a lot harsher when it comes to problem users, but, I've learned the hard way to take a step back, cool off and then post :-)
